1- Appointment confirmation: After booking the appointment, the audiologist will visit your home on the agreed upon date and time.
2- The presence of a close person: It is preferable to have a close person present during the home visit, because this will help provide information about the patient’s condition.
3- Initial discussion: We will have a discussion about your medical history, and daily communication difficulties, to get a deeper understanding of your condition.
4- Otoscopy: An endoscopy of the ear canal and tympanum will be performed to ensure that there is no accumulation of wax or the presence of any medical condition that requires treatment. Once we confirm the health of the ear canal, we will conduct the examination.
5- Comprehensive hearing examination: We will conduct a comprehensive hearing evaluation, which includes a pure tone examination (PTA) and a middle ear examination.
6- Immediate test results: The test results are issued immediately after the evaluation, and we will review them with you in detail.
7- Providing consultation: If a hearing loss is detected, we will provide you with assistance in choosing the hearing aid that is most appropriate for you, and this includes discussing factors such as (the type and shape of the hearing aid, the lifestyle and budget that is most appropriate for you).
8- Choose the budget that best suits you and the easiest payment method: If you decide to get a hearing aid, we will offer you a group of payment facilities that suit everyone.
9- Pick-up time: Once the hearing aid is prepared, we will schedule an appointment to install and program the hearing aid based on the patient’s needs.
10- Education and care: During your appointment, we will give you basic instructions on how to use and maintain your hearing aids at home to ensure you get the maximum benefit.
